How the referral process works

Send your referral
Email a brief referral note with your client's name, injury date, claim number (if known), insurer, and contact details.
Step 02
Client books
We contact your client directly to book a same-day appointment, or they can book online via claimsdoctor.com.au/book.
Step 03
Certificate delivered
The SIRA-compliant certificate is sent to your client and can be forwarded to you as their solicitor. Usually within 2 hours of the appointment.

About Dr Robert Laidlaw
Claims Doctor is led by Dr Robert Laidlaw (MBBS, AHPRA MED0001678014), a medical practitioner with experience spanning emergency medicine, neurosurgery, and occupational health. His clinical background gives him a thorough understanding of injury assessment across the full spectrum of workplace and motor vehicle injuries.
Dr Laidlaw has served as Club Doctor for two NRL clubs, as an expert advisor to the World Health Organization, and on the National Expert Reference Panel for the Australian Department of Health.
